FAQ

FAQ
01What tolerances can you meet?+

Standard tolerance is ±0.10 mm, and if needed, we can machine down to under ±0.01 mm. Please indicate critical dimensions and tolerances on the drawing, and we will quote accordingly.

02What is the difference between milling and turning?+

When milling, the tool rotates and the workpiece is fixed. When turning, the workpiece rotates, which is best for cylindrical parts like shafts and bushings. We choose the right method based on your part.

03What information do you need to provide a quote?+

A CAD file (STEP) and/or a drawing with tolerances, material, and any surface requirements. Upload the documentation via Offert Direkt and we will get back to you with a price, or contact us via email

04Can you surface treat the parts?+

Yes, we offer anodizing (for aluminum), sandblasting and satin finish. Please specify the desired surface treatment when requesting a quote.

05Do you do both one-off parts and series?+

Yes, we manufacture everything from prototypes and single components to series production, with the same demands on quality and accuracy

06When is 3D printing better than CNC?+

For very complex geometries, internal channels, lattice structures and organic shapes. See our services in 3D printing in metal and plastic.
