1. General

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply between Lakeland Handelsbolag, organization number 916931-9093, ("Company", "we", "us") and the customer ("Customer") who uploads files or orders products via our website.

By uploading files, requesting a quote, or placing an order, the Customer accepts these Terms.

2. Customer's responsibility for uploaded files

The Customer is fully responsible for all material uploaded to our service, including but not limited to CAD files, 3D models, drawings, and technical specifications.

The Customer certifies and guarantees that:

- The Customer owns all rights to the uploaded files, or has obtained all necessary permissions, licenses, and rights to use them.
- The manufacturing of the ordered product does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
- The Customer has the right to order the manufacturing of the uploaded model.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The Customer guarantees that uploaded files do not infringe on any third party's:

- patent,
- copyright,
- design protection,
- trademark,
- trade secret,
- or other intellectual property right under Swedish or applicable international law.

The Company does not conduct a legal review of the Customer's files and provides no guarantees regarding intellectual property rights.

4. Customer's Responsibility and Indemnity

The Customer is solely responsible for all legal consequences arising from uploaded files.

If a third party makes claims, takes action, or asserts demands against the Company due to the Customer's uploaded files or order, the Customer shall indemnify the Company for all costs, damages, compensation, fines, legal fees, and other expenses arising from such claims, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Right to refuse or cancel an order

The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel an order without justification if we suspect that:

- uploaded files may infringe on third-party rights,
- the order may be illegal,
- the product may be used for illegal purposes,
- or if the manufacturing is otherwise deemed inappropriate.

Payment for production not yet started will be refunded in such cases according to the Company's assessment.

6. Confidentiality

The Company treats the Customer's files confidentially and uses them only for quoting, manufacturing, and administration of the order.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Company's liability is limited to the value of the current order, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

The Company is not responsible for indirect damages such as loss of profit, loss of production, consequential damages, or other financial losses.

8. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be interpreted according to Swedish law.

Disputes between the Customer and the Company shall primarily be resolved through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute shall be settled by a Swedish public court with the district court as the first instance, unless mandatory consumer protection legislation stipulates otherwise.

9. Confirmation

By clicking “Confirm and continue” when uploading a file and placing an order, the Customer confirms that:

- uploaded files belong to the Customer or are used with the necessary rights,
- the Customer is responsible for any infringement of third-party intellectual property rights,
- the Customer accepts these general terms and conditions in their entirety.

Returns, Right of Withdrawal, and Complaints

10. Custom-made products

All products manufactured by Lakeland based on the customer's uploaded CAD files, drawings, models, measurements, or other specifications are custom-made products.

Since the products are manufactured according to the customer's individual wishes, the right of withdrawal does not apply according to Chapter 2, Section 11 of the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59).

By placing an order, the customer confirms that:

- The product is manufactured according to the customer's own specifications,
- The customer understands that the product is custom-made,
- The right of withdrawal therefore does not apply to the current order.

11. Cancellation

Orders are handled automatically, and production begins shortly after the order has been confirmed.

An order can only be canceled before production has started. If production has already begun, the order cannot be canceled or refunded.

12. Complaints

If the product is faulty, damaged upon delivery, or does not correspond to the confirmed order, the customer has the right to make a complaint about the product according to applicable consumer legislation.

A complaint must be made within a reasonable time after the defect has been discovered.

For complaints, please contact us via e-mail and attach:

• order number,
• description of the defect,
• photo or video clearly showing the problem,
• name and contact details.

After the complaint has been reviewed, we may, depending on the circumstances:

- Repair the product,
- Manufacture a new product,
- Offer a price reduction,
- or refund the purchase price in accordance with applicable law.

13. Complaints do not cover

The following generally do not constitute grounds for complaint:

- Errors in uploaded CAD files or drawings,
- Design flaws in the customer's design,
- Incorrect measurements or specifications provided by the customer,
- Material choices made by the customer themselves,
- Normal manufacturing tolerances,
- Normal wear and tear,
- Damages caused by incorrect use or post-processing carried out by the customer or a third party.

14. Return of faulty goods

If a complaint is approved, we will inform the customer on how the return should be carried out.

Products must not be returned without our prior approval.

In the event of an approved complaint, Lakeland will cover any return shipping costs if this is required by applicable law or a special agreement.

15. Refunds

If the customer is entitled to a refund according to law or after an approved complaint, the refund will be made within 14 days from the date the complaint was approved or the returned product was received, whichever occurs last.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method as used at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

16. Delivery

Normal delivery time is indicated in connection with the order and is an estimate.

Delays may occur due to material availability, production capacity, or other circumstances beyond our control.
